Prop help needed

I have a 4 blade s.s. prop. I think I might need to go down in pitch because at WOT I am only getting about 5000 RPMS @ 30 mph. My problem is I can't find the size stamped on the prop, the only thing I can find is "13" stamped on it. Is there any way to determine the size and pitch if the numbers are not on it?

Re: Prop help needed

I was told the motor should get at least 5500 with 5800 being preferable.

Re: Prop help needed

you really need to know what prop you have on it to be able to correct it...

2 inches down in pitch usually = 400 more RPM...im not sure what a different diameter does in RPM...smaller is probably more rpm but not sure how much

Re: Prop help needed

I have taken the prop off and the only number I can find anywhere on it is a 13.
