I am looking for an aluminum, tunnel hull, prop driven boat. I know of the G3 and Alumacraft tunnels. Are there any other that I don't know about that you guys might reccomend?

Both of those brands are popular. I'm not sure that all of these offer a tunnel type, but some others to look into are DuraCraft, Klamath, Lowe, North River, Warrior, Weldcraft, and Weld-Craft. Here is a link to another thread that kicks the aluminum fishing brands around -

Yeah, have one built; no bull.

I was down in Lafitte, Louisiana (SW of NOLA) on a fishing trip once and there is still a lot of oil activity down there. Other than the steel offshore boats, the smaller boats are aluminum and are locally produced.

Since Lafitte is in the swampy marshes of So. Lousiana, it would seem natural that they would also have plans for a tunnel hull.

Don't have a name and email, but I but if you www investigated Lafitte, you could get a lead that would ultimately lead you to contact info on the builder. I think the name of one of the businesses is Bayou Fuel Dock. Call and ask for help.

I don't think you could go wrong with the G3. I've sold 17 of them this year and had no problems to speak of.
