Yes Roger, It really is a shame that the modern Democrat party has become the property of George Soros, (he sure knows how to exploit the weakness of the dim wits) n' push their collective buttons.

In one sense ya can't blame them fer tryin' to take advantage of the NOTORIOUS EXPERTS ON ALL ASPECTS OF HOMOSEXUALITY public educated dim wit victims' tendency to transfer large amounts of political power durring times of crisis to Dems, (even if the crisis has been caused or greatly magnified by the Democrat leadership as they are tryin' to cause defeat for us RIGHT NOW).

The media is slowly recovering from the very anti American hard Left propaganda mouthpiece that peaked, (or the trough if ya view the world as you and I do) under the stewardship of Walter Cronkite, who with the KGB helped Jane Fonda and John Kerry to bring us to our knees in the early 1970s. THE MODERN DEMOCRATS GLORY DAYS!!!

The trends are unmistakable: LOOK AT THE ACROSS THE BOARD DECLINES in ABC,NBC,CBS,CNN,NYT,WP,LAT, yada yada, and the movement to Fox n' Drudge et al. This will corntinue, IMHO. The Facts, Logic, History and Honor are on the side of American Cornservatives. George Soros may give a Democrat the Presidency in 2009, (I doubt it if Hillary is the nominee, [that's why he n' Oprah like Obama]), and likely will give them larger working majorities in both houses of the legislature.

If you do your homework a bit,you may find out that the Sheiks started fighting El Qaida before the "Surge" started. Foreign El Qaida personel moved into the area and demanded to marry the tribes women.This would mean that these women would marry outside the tribe,which is prohibited under tribal law.
This caused the Sheiks to start fighting El Qaida.
These same Sheiks will turn on the American troops in a second if it serves them better. The bedouin do what is good for the bedouin,not what is good for Iraq or for the US troops.
To just believe that the troop surge caused all of this is not only naive but probably also simple minded.
However,if you insist on believing in the Bush propaganda machine,go right ahead.
Of course there is also the "Rush factor". This is taken right out of the propaganda books of the North-Vietnamese.
It goes like this:state some nonsensical thing often enough and you might even believe in it yourself.Accuse your political opponents of a lack of intelligence and it might make you feel smart.Add a little bit of megalomania in the mix and you can believe in your own mantras.

Uhhh Yah ya think, why in god's earth do you think Bush paid a visit to these warlord's just last week or was it this week, Id almost bet the whole thing will "AL-Quidea" will be over in 90 day's.....The glove's are coming off and there will be no srcunity by the press.... a unknown eidty has stepped into the areana and guess what...they dont have no rule's of engagement..

I must be able to pick up Rush from my fillings as he is on during the day while I am WORKING. If all else fails discount the statement by claiming the conservatives cannot think for themselves. I think that was listed on the Daily Kos talking points..

No doubt the sheiks are coming to the realization they were backing the wrong horse. This is not an either/or situation. No matter which way you slice it, shumer is undercutting his countrymen and the soldiers who are sacrificing. To give this adminstration any credit for anything would cause these people to melt.

He is a disgrace.
