I have just bought a 115HP Etec and it is a superb engine, I have a couple of minor problems thoough and will be dropping it back to the dealer for a check up so far I have done about 8 hours with it.
1 - On a couple of occaions when starting from cold it stalls when I put it into gear, when I try to restart the start motor whirrs away but fails to engage. If I tilt the engine up then down this seems to clear it and it starts fine. Then seem to go into gear without stalling..
2 - A rather anoying muffled rattle appears to be coming from the leg or gearcase when I engage forward or reverse and at tick over.
Has anyone experienced similar problems or am I on my own here?
