Hey guys, This is my second boat and it was give to me for free..Yes FREE> It had been sitting up for a year at a friends house and he just decided that he no longer wanted it. I drove out there, towed it out, and cleaned her up.

It took a couple of hours to get all the crap out and wash the outside but it cleaned up pretty nice. The floor has a few soft-spots, the carpet is ripped in a few places, and the gel-coat has a few stains on it from sitting up but other than that it is in good condition.

So anyway, I am don't know anything about it.

All I know that it is a Renken with a 140 HP Mercruiser. Does anybody know what the Year and Model is??

Thanks for the help..If you have any other information that you think would be helpful please let me know...I will try to attach pictures..hopefully they will show up...

Thanks for the information...I thought it was 70's or 80's ...Just got back in from cleaning her up some more..she is looking great now...Now I need to start work on that motor.

I have no registration. My friend got it from his Grandfather who passed away and he never got any kind of registration papers from his grandfather, thus I have none either. It was last registered in Miss. in 2004. Any advise on how to go about registering in Tenn??

See the HIN Hull identification number on the stern..... it is that small number you can see on the first photo..... as you face the boat from the rear it is in the upper right corner. The last 2 digits are usually the year of manufacture.

i'm with bob_VT. if it's 73 or newer it'll have a hin stamped in it. 72 and older may not.

hate to be the bearer of unkindly news. but a free boat is most likely gonna cost ya. in yer case. starting with the floor. soft floors lots of times lead to rotted stringers and rotted transoms and wet foam. better probe around and see whats ya got to work with. if it's rotton or the foam is water saturated. it's a full restore to make it sound again....mighty cute renken though.....
