I have a 1995 120HP Force (by Merc) with a bad stator, I removed the flywheel and installed the new stator. Now the problem is that the SELOC manual tells me that I should tighten the flywheel nut to "specification", but it no where states the torque required. Can someone tell me the torque I should use for this flywheel nut (it is 1 1/16 in).

Re: Torque Specification Flywheel

According to my manual it states two differen't torque values for the 120hp depending on the serial number. If the serial number is before OE138599 then the torque is 90 ft.-lbs. If the serial number is OE138600 and above, then the torque rating is 125ft.-lbs. Hope this helps. You should think about investing into a factory manual or a Clymer manual. I think they are more informative.
