I have an Evinrude E200TXE Ocean Pro 200 1998 engine. It has always been hard starting after sitting for a while but recently would not start. Check showed a lot of oil (seems like at least 50/50 in the fuel in the line going to the fuel pump from the gas tank) in the fuel. Is there maybe a check valve that is supposed to keep oil from pumping backward down the fuel line?
If we decide to go to using premix 50:1 in the gas tank, how do I disable the warning (and slow down, shutdown?) system. I checked the FAQs but it wasn't obvious.
