I have a thirty foot Pro-Line. Iam running it low on fuel to get the some impurities out of my star board tank. I have twin 150 gallon tanks and heres my problem. While running at 4000 Rpm
the squeze ball on the starboaed tank puckers up and my engine dies. I have no idea what is causing the blockage to create the vaccume. If i switch the gas tanks via the switch the squeese ball fills right up.I also checked that my vent was not clogged and everthing appeared ok with plenty of air going into the tank.
Any thoughts would be appreaciated. Thanks

Re: Gas tank issue

time to pull the sending unit, and clean the tank. your pickup has a screen on it. and it is clogging.

Re: Gas tank issue

Have you replaced the fuel/water seperator? There is also an anti siphon valve at the tank where your engines fuel hose connects. It's an aluminum firring with a spring and check ball.

You can also do this test. How to test your boats fuel system
