I am having trouble with my 225EFI as you can see form my other posts. runs rough and missing at low rpm 600-1400. today I was pulling spark plugs wires while idling to see if I could find a bad cylinder and two of them seemed to have no spark and did not effect the rpms at all when pulled?
I know the motor only run on 4 cyl at low rpm but was wondering witch two cyls cut out?

below about 600 RPM it should spark on all 6, without my manual I am on a limb but best I remember between 800 and 1200 it shuts down #5 and between 1200 to 1800 it shuts off 2 and 5. this applies only to 3.1L 225's and none of the Vmax EFI. Vmax does not use CCS.

Ok, wow... I am not getting anything on #3 & #5 if I am counting the cyl correct? If looking at it from inside the boat it would be the two bottom clyinders on the left side.
I am going to do comp test today,
Plus there seems to be a lot of oil dripping out of the intake cover when I pull the hose off/
