they are the 2 exhaust ports half way up the back of the motor leg. you should get a mist at idle. there is a procedure to add a tale tell, that involves drilling a hole into the water passage on the block, tapping it, adding a fitting, hose, and outlet thru the cowl. i've never done one, so thats all i'm going to tell you, there are others here who have done it. if you desire to.
