shift assist

put in electronic ignition ,pertronics , install diode per specs.
runs rough, play with shift assist works fine
try to put back in netrual will not go
is there adjustments for the shift assits or should i put back the points

personally I would ditch the petronix and go with EST and rewire the shift cut out like the mercruiser setup.
however you already are into it so I would hit the petronix website and get your tech advice directly from them.
but its also why I dont retrofit stuff :).
some of the ESA's are NLA and the rest are getting very expensive so I rarely replace them, I rewire the system so it works like a black anchor.
