What is spec compression on Johnson Silver Star 150HP?

I had the compression checked on the Johnson 150HP 'Silver Star' that came with my latest boat purchase and the tech said it was 95-100 range and that it was within spec for that motor. That seems low to me. I would expect somewhere around 130 to be in spec. Is there anything different about the Silver Star design that uses a lower compression?

Those V6's don't crank all that fast.

95 to 100 psi is fine.
