I have a very nice 65 Merc 500 on a 57 Crestliner Voyager 17 ft utility. 330 lbs dry.Motor about 175 lbs generally never more than 2 adults.Aluminum prop is marked 48-33774A1 - 10P I assume that is 10in pitch.Is 11 in. diameter.Prop appears untouched new.Definately not cupped.I don't have present rpm specs though original owner was very particular so no doubt checked rpm and is in specs.rated 5,500 to 5,800I'm wondering is it possible to add cup to the prop to possibly raise the motor a little more? Antivent plate is even with bottom.No ventilation to this point under fairly severe testing.
