i have a 1985 mariner 40 hp (40EL) that i need the OEM # for the impeller on.
the serial is 6E9L418734

How do you know if the impeller is bad ? ( new to outboards )

Just bought one,,,Quicksilver # 47-99971M ,,,,, I did install it and works great, was $62.00 after tax but what the hell cheaper than a motor.....
