I have a yamaha 30hp 2 cyl, 2 stroke. Currently has BR7HS NGK spark plugs in. I read manual nd it is supposed to have B7HS I think. I know the "R" means resistor so does this mean a smaller spark. Will the B7HS make a bigger spark and will this be ok to use. It is not to easy to start at the moment, 5+ pulls

To me that doesn't make a difference ..... try it and see, it is recommended that you change the spark plug once a year ......

I have been checking more and seen it should have B8HS-10 is this ok, it wont damage it or something. It runs slightly hotter this plug apparently according to

http://www.spark-plugs.co.uk/pages/technical/ngkjpg.htm

I am going to put them in! I know it shouldnt make much of a difference but just checking

No difference in the performance. The resistor is to cut Rf which wasn't a problem with your motor;s electronics.

What is the year and what model is this 30 hp Yamaha. There are two different plugs with two different gaps depending on the year of the engine.
