High, this is only the third time ive taken my boat out, i decided to take it to sea as the past two times were in fresh water. It idled out of the mariner and opened the throttle gradually as we left it all seemed fine after awhile we stopped to do some fishing when we were ready to leave i had a bit of an accident and our guide rope got caught up in the prop. Because i had'nt realised this was the problem i had been starting the engine and trying to engage the gear but due to the rope the engine kept cutting out, i tried starting the engine probably a dozen times before i realised what the problem was and then was able to fix it.
After i freed the prop i started the engine and we moved off, it run fine at medium revs but when i applied full throttlle the engine began to stutter, thats probably not the right word but thats how it seemed to me, you may say intermitent.
