No, I didn't just fumble around a drop it, I was pouring it into my port fuel tank filler. Seems my filler neck hose has popped off.

Just flushed the interior heavily with water to dilute and wash it out the back. Not partial to intentionally washing out a carpeted boat with the water hose but there wasn't much choice.

Been a rough day anyhow.

well, yer smarter than i am pb. at least ya washed it off. i spilled 25w40 on my carpet right after i got my nineteen. i didn't wash it off.......now my carpet is stained.......:( oh well, if ya aint makin mistakes, ya aint doin nothin.......:D did kinda bum me out though, i ain't seein no lime green replacment carpet that'd suit me on line anywhere. yet......ya'll be glad ya washed it down......coulda been worse too. if yer hosed, ya coulda been fillin it up with some high test........how many gallons? not just ounces.....

To lube the valve seats, no? This has been discussed before, some do it some say it isn't necessary but I doubt it will hurt a thing, besides my carpet.;)
