Yes, but it was on a small outboard. But it's an emergency prop and just like the little spare tire they put in the trunk of sedans, you take it easy when you are in an emergency situation with substandard parts...........right?

never saw these "emergency" props before, I didn't examine in detail but looked like they are ONE piece. Although more expensive, I use a composite Pirahna prop as a spare (works as primary as well, but 5 mph slower WOT speed than my SS).

The nice thing with Pirahna props is that they break down to individual blades and the hub, so they store in really tight spaces and are very light as well.

the blades can be purchased individually if one should be damaged (about $22 per) and the hub has a lifetime warranty.

awesome, i should get myself one of those ..... anyway ... the pro-pulse props are great ....
