I just purchased a deck boat with a 4 cyl mercruiser 140 hp alpha 1 outdrive it really runs good but blower seems to run most of time is this normal havnt had chance to get manuals on it yet to study up just what does blower do thanks for any help

The blower exhausts the engine area of harmful fuel vapors.....
It is good practice to run it at all times, but it is essential for you to run it for five minutes before starting you engine.....
You will have to get a DVM tester & see what your circuitry routing is.....
You wont find it in the Merc manual.....;)​
