Hello all....I really need help with this and appreciate any advice. I bought a used 28hp (28E) mariner......serial # 664-L-570970. It ran twice but then overheated. I took it in for repair and they replaced the head gasket and water pump. I took it home and again problems. It stalled after a short time running. I took it back to the shop and the replaced both coils and condensers....I brought it home again and same thing....It starts with full choke....runs for a short time...then stalls...It will also run for a short time in Idle then stall...The shop said it was fixed....The fuel is new....and ran my other 25hp mariner on my pontoon just fine.....This motor is for a fishing boat. What is frustrating is it does start and runs.....but ends up stalling in idle or higher rpms......please help!
