im looking at a 1976 24' searay cuddy for a project boat. the cost to buy is 2000 with a crappy trailer. it has a 454 and a t2 leg. can anyone offer any advice and tell me the weight of this boat and tell me if its even worth pursuing

Looks like most 1976 24' SR's are listed around $3000.00 in seaworthy condition. Since this is a project boat it's hard to say what it's worth. If the engine runs and the I/O are OK, you have half the the project done.
