my 1990 bayliner capri runs great for abot 20 min then starts running rough then dies for about an hour before you can restart it was also smoking out the carb could someone help me not sure whats wrong with it

Welcome to the forum JL. You'll find a lot of helpful people and info here. What kind of motor does your boat have? O/B, I/B, hp? yr?, etc. Thats the best place to start in order to get some quality feedback.
