OMC 800 prop shaft

I am trying to pull the prop shaft aprt to get to the reverse gear, however, I can not get to the snap rings. I know you need a long set of snap ring pliers, but I have been all over town today and can not find any. Does anyone know where I can find some pliers that will work??

I dunno in the US, but I bought this set at Canadian Tire last year for $15.99 (they have amazing sales- I see they are on sale again this week for the same - reg. $39 for the set - they are lifetime warranty- good quality) - straight set works like a charm on those snap rings!!! The 45 and the 90 degree ones are super handy too.

That would be handy. I just did a search for Canadian Tire and it looks like us Americans cant buy from there.

I just took a pair of long nose pliers like pictured and ground the ends to put a kindive hook on it, it workd great, those pliers are availiable everywhere
