Hey guys , i have a 19ft bayliner cuddy with a 125 force outboard , it has a 13 3/4 by 15 pitch aluminum prop on it , the boat will do between 35 and 40 at wot at 5000 rpms , is this right , i just bought the boat 3 weeks ago.The manual on the motor said the wot rpm's is 5500 but im not reaching that.

5,000 is about right. If you look at the plate, it will state 125 Hp at 5,000 and operating range either 4,500-5,500 rpm or 5,000-5,500 rpm.

Either way, you are still in the range. ---And with a 15 pitch prop, the only way you can go is up in pitch, dropping the rpm even more.

You may be able to fine tune your setup antivent plate should be about even with the bottom of the boat.You may be able to raise it vertically a hole or 2 more until just before ventilation becomes a problem.Be sure it continues to pump water at speed.If you can gain an inch you could pick up 2 or 3 mph under ideal conditions.
