Smile im getting a new boat. i have questions.

hi, im getting a new jon boat. its a grizzly 1548 aw. i dont know a whole lot about boats so i have some questions. if you can answer any of them please post it.
1)which mercury 25hp motor should i get? i need the fastest one.
2) i heard something about turning coolers into livewells but it said something about hard mount coolers. what does that mean?
3) what is the difference between mercury EFI, standard, bigfoot, and prokicker? which one is fastest.
4)when installing a through-hull livewell pump, how do you know water wont sink through the hole or something?
5)ive heard alot about this "trim" on the boat, what is that?
6)how do i know im about to over rev my engien?

thats all i can think of right now but i might have more later. thanks, please post.

1) 25 HP is 25 HP.
2) Cooler used as livewell = portable. Built-in livewell = hard mount
3) Didn't I answer the EFI, BigFoot, Standard issue in one of your "other" posts?
4) If you make a hole in the boat below the water line, whatever you connect to the output of the pump must be "above" the water line or you will sink the boat whether the pump is running or not. Water doesn't run uphill.
5) Trim is the angle at which the motor is tilted. Power trim is accomplished using a hydraulic pump and cylinder activated by the trim switch on the control box lever. Manual trim is done by repositioning the pin on the transom bracket. Most 25 HP engines will not have power trim.
6) Without a tach you don't know when you will over rev the engine.
