Checking Mixture on a 1977 14hp evinrude
I want to make sure I'm not running it lean. I had the carb apart .Now it runs nice.
Do I check the plugs?
Thanks

What's your model number? I don't think they made a 14hp in 1977. Its probably from the 80's.

If they are damp it isn't running lean. Slightly damp is fine. Normally they should be dry, but if its running fine I wouldn't worry about it.
