suzuki dt55 3 carbs,oil injected 2cycle

engine starts fine,compression on all 3 is 120psi..engine cold or hot ..it's the same..

put new plugs in ngk BR8HS,gapt 32'
after 10 min. running top cyl. plu is verry wet and oily and black..
2e cyl. is not as bad as nr1,but wet and black,nr3 cyl is white and dry....

engine doesn't sound like it not missing out of the water..

spark seems to be all the same

but engine seems to have no power,won't pickup speed..

sometimes it sounds to run on only one cyl,will pickup 2e cyl ones in a while when we have it in the water under load

does anyone have any info on this?
any specs on the carbs??

Bet you're not getting "fuel" to that cyl. If it's black and oily suspect no fuel there. With the outboard running try pulling off one plug wire at a time at each cyl. and see if there is a definet change in engine idle/rpm. If there is check that carb. It or all may need to be cleaned and have a kit installed. These carbs are not hard at all to install a kit. Go to brownspoint.com and click on to your engine link to bring up a parts illustration of your motor/carbs

Thank's your quick reply.
We cleaned all the carbs and cylinders
are all fieing and checked all the plugs and they are all looks good and very quick throttle responce.

Did you find the carb/s had residue in them?\ and maybe the needle sticking in the seat?

Back off the two bolts holding the fuel pump to the block and squeeze the primer ball. If gas shoots out the back of the pump, replace the pump and your problem goes away.

proper carb rebuild ... soak - compressed air ......
