desperately in need of a part

For the last week I have been looking for a part.

Model type: BJ4RLCCS
S/N: B7649549
Name: SailMaster
4 HP
I am told that the motor is a 1988 Johnson 4HP deluxe engine.

The part needed is the shifting handle (lever) which engages the motor to and from neutral to forward.

This is my second attempt on this forum for this part. Last week JB through this forum indicated tcoutboard.com as a possible supplier, but I've been chasing them for a week without any reply.

For some reason I can't seem to find this part for my outboard. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

you have to call tcoutboard.com they get so many email inquiries, they can't handle it.

Also try sea-way.com The part number for the shift handle is 333007. It is listed as no longer available.
