Does power steering stop leak work for trim motor???

My trim pump needs some new seals. The outdrive will leak down slowly, all internal, no external leaks. Will power steering stop leak recondition the seals enough to get my by until I have time to rebuild it? I mean, it can't hurt, right?

I doubt it will hurt anything but probably won't help either...
I guess if you are going to rebuild it at the end of the season its worth a try..
