Motor is 2003 model just bought second hand. The who rig is very tidy, I water-tested and maneuvered this boat, all was fine. After collecting it I found nothing happened when I turned the key, and that the prop won't turn - she's stuck in gear. No difficulties moving control level full motion fwd/rvrs, and shift levers appear to be moving fine under the hood. I can feel the motor compression if I turn the prop by hand (careful!) and as the prop turns you can certainly feel the cylinder compression. I also hear what sounds like a fuel pump whirring constantly while ignition is on, but no crank. Any ideas aside from adjusting control cables, or suggestions to isolating the issue to the cables, or mid/lower leg issue?

what control box is this rig equipped with ?
look on the lower stbd side of the engine, while looking at the shift slide watch for shift cable motion while an assistant moves the shift lever.
