Hello Everyone,

I am new to the forum, I just got a 95 Trophy 2002 w/ Force 120, this is my first boat and first outboard. This weekend, I have replaced the thermostat, four spark plugs. I also wanted to change the water pump impeller. But I don?t if I have the right part. The guy at the local marine shop mail order me a

Quicksilver Impeller replacement kit, Part No. 47-43026Q06,

on the back of the kit , it says :

Fit Mercury/ Mariner 40/45/50/60 HP
BigFoot FourStroke; 60 hp 2-cycle Big Foot
0D000750 and above; 75/90/115 hp
FourStroke; 70/75/80/90 hp (3cyl.) 2-cycle
(s/n 0A996142 and above) and 100/115/125
Hp (4cyl.) 2chcle having pump cover screws
Without insulators; V200/225/250 hp (3.0L)
2-cycle outboards; and mercury MerCruiser
Alpha One Generation II (s/n 0d469859 and Above).

But No Force 120???

Can anyone please help me to verify if I have the right Impeller kit.

Thanks in Advance.

go to this webiste, http://www.mercruiserparts.com/mercruiser_parts.asp

click "search with pics" look for Force, HP and your serial number, then look for water pump parts and you will find the right part number for your engine, based on your serial #

I come up with part number 43026T2 for a 1995 force 120 impeller

or 817275A2 for the complete water pump kit

Hey Thanks for the reply,

Well, the part number on the website is 47-43026T2

The Kit I got is a QuickSilver pt no. 47-43026Q06, the first 7 number is the same, local shop told me that Force was made by mercury, it use the same impeller.

I guess I have to gamble and see.

But I will probably also get the part stated here too, just incase.

oh one more thing, I just change the lower unit lube, when I replace the impeller, do I have to drain it out again before I take the lower unit out?

Thanks for any advice.
