Wireing Diagram 1977 Johnson/Buccaner

I recently acquired a 1977 Bucaneer Deck Bost with a 1977 Johnson 140 HP O/B. Looking for wireing Diagrams and any other operating information. Unit has been setting for several years.

If this motor has be idle for that long, you really do need a OMC manual. The wiring diagrams will be in it. CD and printed versions can be purchased on Ebay and other places. I believe this site has them for sale, also.

Do you need diagrams for the boat itself?

Yes i would, I believe it would be helpful. I have traced all of the wires and have conductivity through the system. I can get a slight bump at the solenoids. If I go direct to the starter it will turn over. Seems to have a voltage drop issue .

I have also been to the Library and the diagram is fine but somewhat limited for the motor, what it does not have is a diagram from the 6 position key to the terminal block at the engine. I have two wires in the key area that are not connected. I believe one is to go to the sel.
