I have a 1996 5.7 ltr Mercruiser that won't start. I took the boat out of storeage this week for the first time this year. I replaced the starter battery. All electrical systems seem to function fine. When I turn the ignition key, the engine does not turn over. All I get is the buzzing alarm when you first turn the key. The same senario happened last year, but the problem seemed to fix itself and it worked fine for the rest of the season. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be?
