Default need help repair evinrude 6hp

I just purchased a used 6hp evinrude short shaft. I had it shipped ups to my house it arrived in 3 parts.

The handle that controlls the speed and folds up is completely broken off.

The lever that changes the direction(forward neutral and reverse0 is completely broken off.

My serial # is 662e-e15353.

Can the repairs be done? Approximately how much do you think it will cost?

By the way what year is this motor? Where can I get my hands on a manual?

Thanks in advance

We'll need a model # to determine year. Should be right where you read the serial#

Is this question for the purpose of determining repair cost for the insurance co? Anyhoo, the shift handle costs about a hundred bucks new from a dealer, plus an hour to install. Not knowing specifically which part is broken on the tiller, can't tell you the cost of it. It is a significant job to replace the steering bracket if that is broken. I assume you just dropped the 0 from the model/serial and it is a 6602, 1966.

Yes, you do have to pull the powerhead. That's the hour labor.

Thanks for all your help.
