I am the 3rd owner of a boat that was originally purchased in Colorado and equipped with a high altitude package. The second owner purchased the boat and had it shipped to FL. I purchased the boat not knowing about an existing high altitude package and still operate the it at sea level. The boat weighs in at +12,000 lbs and is a 30 footer. I have twin 5.0's and the outdrives are 2.0:1 (high altitude) Alpha One Gen II outdrives with 4 blade 14.5X18 inch props. It takes for ever to get it on plane at 4000 RPM + and to keep it on plane it takes 3600 RPM. I sure would like to get on plane quicker and cruise at something less than 3600 RPM. Any suggestions on prop size would sure be appreciated. Thank You, Paul
