I have a 2002 Glastron with a 4.3L volvo outdrive. It runs fine as long as I keep the tank topped off. Last weekend I use about 9 gallons of gas and it cut out. Could not get it started. I topped off the tank - 9 gallons worth and it ran fine again. I have a 29 gallon tank but only seem to use the top 9 gallons - Anyone else run into this issue.

There is a tube in your fuel tank on the elbow that the fuel line is connected to

It could have failed and now there only a short piece that does not reach the bottom of the tank

Haven't seen these new ones have you Bondo. No soldered tubing, they are a piece of plastic tubing heated and put on a barb fitting. No sealant, nothing. Just the plastic cooling down is all that seals them. Why they don't leak more often surprises me. But I would agree that tube is his problem. Probably still on the fitting, it just sucks air after 9 gallons of gas are used.
