Hi Guys,

We got my dad a new Tiller Steer 40HP engine, and when he tries to start the engine first off it will not start..... This happens when he has not used the boat for a week or it's cold in the mornings before fishing.

Has anyone seen this problem ? or can help ?

the throttles MUST be fully closed to start cold. have the dealer perform a linkage synchronization and test the enrichment coils.
