hey guys
i have to replace my Gymball bearing on a 89 bayliner 19.5. No biggie ive done it before and have the alignment tool.
my question is what is the torque setting for the bolts that hold the outdrive to the gymball housing. I cant find my manual. I jsut tighten them till I cant tighten them anymore.
also the reason it is being changed out again is I have a small seepage of water through the driveshaft bellows. I replaced the bellows and it has no cuts or holes in it. Should I put a bead of sealant at the lip of the bellows where the outdrive is supposed to seal against the rubber? thats the only place I can figure the water coming in at. its rusting out the bearing. Also shoudl I grease that bearing up everytime I go out? I dont want to greas eit up to the point eventually I fill the bellows with grease.
thanx a bunch

Rob
