Question Pontoon Boat Motor Height
Does anyone know the proper height for the motor on a double pontoon boat? I have 23" pontoons and my Yamaha 115HP - 20" shaft cavitation plate is 5" higher than the bottom of the pontoons. Do I need a 25" shaft motor?

Most motors are hung all the way down. I've never seen an XL shaft transom on a toon.
