Hello again.
I need to remove the lower end on my 1985 25rcos to replace the water pump. I bought a Clymer's manual but it doesn't tell how to remove the lower end. It goes through the prop removal and the water pump rebuild but I figure somewhere in there I'll need to remover the lower end, right? It looks like 4 bolts holding it on. Is there anything I should know before I just jump in head first?
Thanks
Keith

Re: Removing lower end

Disconnect the battery, drain the lu oil and remove the prop to start. There are the four bolts you see, plus I believe 1 on the trim tab, 1 underneath it, and a countersunk one. You will also need to disconnect the shift rod, that should be described in your owners manual. GL
