:confused: Donzi fuel injected engine cranks but will not start, 12V on + side of coil, but no fire to distributor. No code check done. Changed coil, engine started but next day would not start. Same scenario: 12V on + side of new coil, etc..... Suspect ECM module but cost prohibitive to replace unless absolutely necessary. Any suggestions short of taking to dealer???

If you don't have a factory repair manual, some tools for checking the system, and an understanding of the system your pretty much dead in the water.

Ever notice these first time posters NEVER post the year of their engine. Must be that nothing ever changes, nothing new comes out, ever. If it's MPI, it has to be the same.
Couldn't believe Merc would change anything since 1995 when the MPI was first introduced on the 350 Mags.
