Piston Rings

I have a 1958 Evinrude 18 hp. I have searched high and low to find the piston rings so they could be replaced. Can anyone give me an idea as to where I might be ably to find them? Also when I seperated the lower unit from the power head I thought there was only one seal that went on the lower unit. Can anyone help me out there as well? Thank you Bill

You must have not searched high or low enough. The part number is 378415 (set of 3 rings). Any Evinrude or Johnson dealer can get them. Or there are on-line sources too.

I don't understand the second question. Please elaborate.

Well thank you for the response Imported. As for the second question I was able to find a diagram that helped me. Now is there anystores online that you would recommend to find evinrude parts that would either have them or be able to get them?
