2007 E-Tech 115hp tilt trim quetion

My 2007 115hp E-Tech power tilt and trim will not hold a position. If I leave the outboard in the vertical position the hydraulics will lose pressure in a few hours and the outboard will tuck it self all the the down. Is the normal? I know it was not doing this when I bought it 6 months ago. dose any one have any input on this issue it would be greatly appreciated.

No, that's not normal but it may be as simple as the manual relief valve wiggling itself partially open.

Thanks for the reply, I will check the manual relief screw, I did not think to check it since the outboard is only six months old and I have only put about 15 hours on it. Thanks again JL

Could it be possible that new that the resevoir is low somehow?

take it to the dealer ,its only 6 months old thats unaccectable.
