Good Morning,
I am having a lot of problems trying to start an outboard I just bought (used)
It is a 2005 Merc 4hp 4 stroke that has been used since the fall of 05.
I have replaced plug and oil and fuel- CANNOT get it to run!!
I have used both internal & remote fuel tanks, there seems to be getting fuel to the carb, but can't seem to have any luck.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated -Thanks

SOH - I had the same problem last yr.with a 7.5 hp, found that my carburator-float was saturated and floating too low. I seem to have the same problem again this year.......no gas- plenty of spark! I wonder if the problem is from setting in the tilt up position too much?
