Due to the death of a friend I have inherited a 1978 Monark. It is in rough shape and missing parts such as the dash(instrument) panel, body trim among other things. The body is restorable so I need pointers on where to go to find the parts I need and maybe a manual. Any help will be appreciated.
Also, where is the best place to buy a manual for the 1979 Evinrude 200 that is with it. She is saveable I just need your help to get me in the right direction.

Monark is still in business and you might want to start with them first. I have had good luck by contacting manufacturers' warranty departments and getting help to talk or write to the correct person. Start with www.monarkmarine.com for contact info. As for the motor, Bombardier Recreational Products' website has a good parts listing including OEM manuals which are recommended by the experts. Try www.brp.com. Good luck!
