Hi guys, I have a 1969 johnson with 55hp, it runs ok on idle, but when i put it in F or R it dies on me, and i have to start it up again... thats kind of a problem for me when I`m driving at low speed at the docs....
could it be as easy as adjusting the idle?
another prob. is when I got more then 3 people onboard, the boat runs really slow at full throttle, and it runs bad if I don`t run at full throttle...
Plugs? or some ignition failure??
anyone now what the reason is?
I`ve worked only with classic cars, so I don`t know much about outboard engines, or boats..
