I had a 25 hp 1971 evinrude until it was stolen. In the process they busted the shift and throttle connections. I have a 76 Johnson 35 hp to use as a replacement. Will this control box from the 71 evinrude work for the 76 johnson. I also need new cables and connection kits. Does anyone know what style of cables and connection kits I should be using. I have seen two styles ca27208 and ca27321 from teleflex. Also the wording is the ca27208 is for use with 400 and 3400 cables. What cables would the ca27321 be used on. I have not changed these before and I don't want to get the wrong parts.
