Hi, Anna.

Welcome to iboats.

Have you checked for spark at the spark plug?
Have you tried squirting a bit of gas into the carburetor?
Have you ordered an Owner's Manual?
Was it shipped with oil in it?
Does it have oil in it now?

Hi JB,

Thank You for your advice, the motor started we squirted a bit of gas into the carburetor.

Now I have one more question, when I have low RPM I got only stem comming out from motor, when I got medium RPM I got water, and again with high RPM I got steam again. Is my cooling system work OK. Is it normal. Or I soulg see water comming out all the time. PLease Tell me.

I appreciate,

Anna - Beginner :-)

you should see water all the time, never steam. should just be a better stream at higher rpm's. water pump impeller most likely needs changing. any running of motor without water hooked to it for cooling will quickly wear out the impeller. its not too hard of a job, easier with a manual. impellers should be changed every year to 2 years

Hi Anna,

I just boat a mercury 4HP four Stroke 2004. Can you help me with these question below.

What type of oil do I need for the engine?

What type of gas do I need (regular, mid plus, super)?

How do I mix the gas with the stabelizer?

How do I winterize the motor?

I tilted the engine and found a lot of oil leaking out? What happen? Do I need to add more oil?

How big is the gas tank?

Please help me with this. I really appreciated ,

thank you,

Jimmy
