I have a 170 mercruiser with an alpha 1 outdrive. Will the exhaust tube work with that setup. I know it will be a little bit louder, but will I lose or gain any power? What are the advantages (besides easier to install) and the disadvantages
Doesn't matter what engine is in front of it, the tube will work on any alpha. It is much easier to install, but will not provide any noticable gain in power. It will also be slightly(very slightly) louder at idle.
