I have 2001 Evinrude Ficht 200hp outboard that has recently started having problems when idling out of gear. the RPMS steadily increase and the only way to bring them down is to stop the engine and restart. Once restarted engine idles normally. This has happened occassionally and ususally when I am coming down from a higher speed down to slow speed when approaching the marina. Any suggestions?
